有看過新世紀福音戰士的朋友一定記得這首片尾曲。這首歌前後共有近千人翻唱，我聽過的就是宇多田光的改編R&B版，將舒情的爵士樂改編成強而有力的R&B曲調，據說老howard還特意打電話給光妹說很喜歡她的編曲呢！以下係宇多田光版本的歌詞，和原版有些少出入:
